Painting supercharger?

Planning to get an ESS kit some time next year, instead of powdercoating could I just spray paint the supercharger with high temp paint with something like this https://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-DE1636-Ceramic-Clear-Engine/dp/B000GKEXV6?th=1

Saw somewhere that ceramic might hold in heat though, would that be an issue?

They don't get that hot. Just use engine paint or powdercoat.

As much as a supercharger costs why not spend a little more to have it powder coated the color you want. You can get any color you want.
