Painted engine cover Par for the course or shoddy work?

About a month ago I ordered a painted engine cover and coil covers from a shop in CA that I found on eBay. They had a good rating and they seemed to do good work based on what I saw on their Instagram page. I received them in the mail today and immediately noticed some imperfections. The right side looks like something may have been placed on it while it was still wet while the left side looks fine.

There seems to be an area in the center where the paint ran or pooled.

And then there are edges that dont seem to have been completely painted.

I feel based on the painted items I bought from JLT that these are poorly done. Am I wrong?

I spray painted mine with Grabber Blue I ordered online, and it came out 10 times better. Took about a total of two hours to mask with painters tape and give two coats of primer, three coats of blue, and two coats of clear. I would absolute not accept that piece as it is now.

Get your refund and then realize the engine looks better without the cover anyway

I just finally got my refund from pp. When I messaged them they responded immediately and apologized. They said I could ship it back and they would fix it or I could get a refund. I was going to at least give them the opportunity to fix this but they tried blaming the issues on shipping damage. No way in hell any of this could have been caused in shipping.
