Looks good. What kind of paint did you use? And do you foresee any issues with heat?

I have never heard of an injection gauge. Is that a device? It looks like a syringe.

Yes it's a large syringe used to measure out liquids. Any pharmacy will have em, just ask for a measuring syringe or device. We give em out whenever someone gets a liquid prescription for small children or animals. Just squirt the medicine in there :D

Regular cheap spray paint for in and outside.
Will see in a couple of weeks if it will hold with the heat.

So do you just fill them up, let it dry a bit and then suck the excess back out?

You squirt enough in to cover the area painted plus a tiny bit more to account for shrinkage. Repeat for each letter.

I use model enamel because it's easy to meter. You can even inject a clear over it using a clear epoxy for a more permanent / resistant finish.

I have a stockpile of 18g needles from my Army medic days that I toss on some old syringes to make it uber accurate. I also use them to lube tough spots, etc.
