Almost two years ago when I first got my '22 CS, I made a post inquiring about the gaps/placement of the side scoops. I was advised there could *potentially* be a warranty case here, though I never pursued it. Fast forward two years, the clear coat on the same spot of both side scoops is starting to bubble. This came out of nowhere starting about a month ago.

I wash the car regularly, no garage but its not left in constant sun, no other areas of the car have this issue. Wondering if anyone w/ experience here might know if this would be covered under the Paint Warranty? Possibly a bad paint job on the side scoops? The very top edges of them are also a bit white now, doesn't appear to be mineral deposits or anything.

I don't have a photo on hand right now, will try to take one ASAP, but it's the upward-angled part of the scoops so if the entire car were to experience the issue, this would be found on the hood, roof, spoiler/rear deck lid, fenders, etc.

Marked up screenshot from my post two years ago in the meantime lol. Red area is where the bubbling is, the yellow line is where the white edges are starting.

You still got about a year left on your warranty so you could definitely make a fuss about it to your dealer.

Do you like the side scoops?
I have a 2016 GT/CS, the earlier ones never had those stick on fake vents thankfully. If you don't like them you could just take them off pretty easily.

I remember your original post about the misaligned side vent scoops. I say take them off and never worry about them again! Haha
