I am working on my dream build.
Going with 2019 GT, white.
Racing stripes blue - front to back.

will be installing a GT350 style spoiler.

but I don’t know if I should leave the spoiler stock black or paint match to white.

also when we put the spoiler on, should we run the stripes over the spoiler also or leave the spoiler as-is

please share your thoughts

thx in advance

Put vinyl stripes on. If you decide you don't like them, they're easy to remove.

Most GT350 spoilers "I've seen" are black. I like the contrast of the black against the body color. If you paint the spoiler body color, I would definitely run that blue stripe over it BUT if you leave the spoiler black, I think I might not run it over the spoiler, but rather continue it down the trunk and onto the bumper. Are you looking at the 350 GT Track Spoiler? I think this might make a difference to suggestions of which to do also.

There are plenty of pics on this forum of cars with stripes over the spoiler and not and also cars that have rear spoiler body color and those that are black. These pic will help visually.

Take Blue Moon's advice about the stripes and try it out. Hell, you can mock-up the spoiler with blue masking tape first to get an idea!

I have an oxford white GT350 with blue OTT stripe, so . . .. My opinion - leave the spoiler black and run the stripes under.

Now, if you want a color matched spoiler - are you thinking of the new GT350 "swing" style? I think that would look odd color-matched. Or a PP1 spoiler? Or, which one?

I think pedestal style spoilers/wings don't look good with stripes on them.

Scroll down till you see the back end view of the white one, and there's your answer. Black spoiler, no stripes, body stripes to the bottom of the back bumper. Looks great, and I'm not a stripe guy.

Was gonna be a smart a$$ and ask if you see a black spoiler on that yellow Cobra....lol, but...new body style, new colors needed. The factory stylists do a pretty good job. You won't go far wrong with that.

That did answer the stripe question:)

white with blue stripes with black spoiler does give it that sporty/aggressive look.

thanks everyone for the replies.
