Have a scuff that took the clear coat and paint. Not big but if it doesn't get taken care of it can get worse. Also not big enough to really take to a detail shop, so any recommendations on how to fix?

Also color is black so even though its small pretty noticeable.

I can also vouch for Dr. Colorchips. It is very easy to use and the color match was perfect. Way better than any of the paint pens you can buy.

I would recomend buying one of the smaller kits. They say the shelf life on the paint is only a year. I bought the large kit and have fixed a ton of chips, but have made barely any dent in the paint level. So far my paint is still useable at nearly 2 years old, but a little goes a long way.

From what I've seen so far Colorchip is amazing but is used to cover up smaller blemishes. Mine is a bit bigger. Got it from someone swinging their door open too close to mine in a parking lot. Think it would still work?

I have filled fairly large chips on my hood. Not as big as yours, but I do think it would make them less noticeable.

I just ordered some Dr Colorchip after a rock truck rained on me on the interstate because the vehicle next to him decided to not pass and I got stuck riding diagonally.

I know everyone is always recommending Dr Colorchip, but does anyone have any before and afters? I'm just curious how well it actually turns out.

One thing I would like to point out is Metallic paint or tri coats don't blend well with touch up unfortunately it's more of a preventive for future chipping

I feel your pain. My wife's Edge is some triple white thing and I have guard.

I fixed some chips on my wife's edge and it....doesn't look any better since they can't match the tri coat. Just prevents chipping [emoji17]

That means the Ruby Red is going to be impossible to match as well.
Yarp. It'll be close but it won't blend [emoji17]

I'll try and take some pics of my wife's edge

The roads in NJ SUCK and I caught a chip last week in my Ruby Red. I ordered Dr. color chip last fall just in case so I had it in stock. It looks pretty good but you have to do it 3 times to let it build up.

How did it come out after using it?

Haven't gotten a chance to use it yet, came in the mail a couple days ago. I don't have any days off the rest of this week but as soon as I do next week it will be the first thing I do, and I'll make sure to get some before and after photos.
