Paint correction is usually a process involving cutting agents and polishes to help reduce the visibility of flaws in the clear coat/paint.

Permanent paint, repairing the surface by removing old material and reapplying new.

Maybe?

From what I'm seeing paint correction can take out swirls and imperfections and perm paint is more of a sealant. I just hope if u get perm paint they fix imperfections before sealing it. I don't know for sure but I'll report back when I hear from this detail guy

So the dealership said it was "Permaplate" after i talked to them again. I found info online that says how its all a scam sealant the dealership tries to sell. Although they want to do it for free on my car i'm going to say no thanks and have them pay for an off site paint correction. I trust that process
