How has Ford been handling flaws in paintwork? I have a few fisheyes and a piece of debris that was painted over on the hood. Luckily, I don't have the body panel alignment issues. Just picked it up on Saturday and have gone over it in better lighting and at home without a salesman breathing down my neck.

I have a slight paint run on my bumper and a paint bubble on my trunk lid. I asked the Ford Service Manager if they had pre-painted units they could easily swap the bad ones for, but he told me they come in with primer and the paint job his guys would do is nowhere near the quality of the Ford Factory so mine will stay with the factory defects

Mine looked great except for the paint being a little light an a portion of the right door where the hinges are. Nothing that anyone would see. Definitely not worth fixing. I only happened to see it when my better half was getting out of the car in bright sunlight and I happened to be leaning just the right way.

I agree with the dealer - unless a minor paint flaw is really bugging you, I think getting it repaired will not be worth the effort / end result. Paint is a pain to work with (and Lord knows it is way better than it was years ago!) . Every time we have a product that is painted at our company, cosmetics are always an issue at one point or another.
