At 107,000 miles, with the stock tune.
I just got a P0234 code taking off at WOT from the dealership parking lot
My only mod is a recently installed MBRP Street catback exhaust...
The computer dialed me back, hard. I can't make more than 5 PSI boost now.
Question 1: what causes overboost? I'm guessing that my wastegate is suspect #1.
Question 2: what would an aftermarket wastegate with a 10 lb. spring do for the car? Would the stock tune be okay with it? It seems like if I have to spend $150 on parts, I might as well make the car a little more fun...
