P0012 Rough idle stalling issues

So I’ve been having issues with my car rough idling and I never got a check engine I went to Ford 2 times and left my car for over a week and they couldn’t find an issue even the shop formen looked at it now with my luck right as I hit 60,000 miles about 200 miles past my powertrain warranty I get a p0012 I looked into it and I’ve been reading on the forums that Ford cycles the vct solinoid 10 times id like to know how I can do that to see if that fixes my issue I’d really appreciate the help
