Spotted this cool vid on YouTube... In German but any Mustang head would find this very cool. Imagine having a trackside driving school like this in Aus... :first:

Have we asked Ford Au (as a forum) whether they even think to organize such an event?
I would be more than happy to participate.

Spotted this on FB - allegedly happened at Cairns dragstrip today...

Cheers

I would say his insurance company wont cover that either. Unless you have specific insurance for track work the standard every day insurance companies will wipe their hands. Hope he was OK.... I couldnt imagine how the poor guy feels.

Haha, yep I say you have a point there! But what is interesting is I always felt the pressed hood spears formed a good weak point where they taper out at the front end of the bonnet and this confirms that. They might get messed up but seems to have a safe cabin for front end collisions.

Just spotted a convertible magnetic in a Melbourne CBD car park. It was one of these small car parks where they need to move cars around and I was a hell of a lot more nervous than the owner (who was not there) when they were squeezing it in…

This is the quote I meant to tag, "It'll buff out"! Sorry I'm not very handy on the iPad.

Saw this one back in June north bound on the SHB but don't remember seeing the stripes.

I did notice that you had seen it before (on your motorbike IIRC). Also noticed you didn't mention stripes. The stripes are the factory fade ones – aftermarket perhaps?
