Yeah they look much better with the pinstripe accent and def down the back. I will get ours from Big Worm matte black dual 7's with red pinstriping. yours will look killer.
I will be getting mine from him also and I was thinking of getting flat black ones originally but then it will not look right with gloss black roof, so gloss black ones it is. :D:thumbsup:

I agree the gloss would be better in your case. Ours will now be black so the matte black stripes will be good. Dont forget when you order use the coupon code mustang6g for a discount. By the way, I have been told by a graphix mate in the US that Big Worm material is up there with the best for pre cut solutions.

Yeah they are as long as you follow some basic principles. I am sure you already have looked at them but there are some good vids on youtube showing how.

It is a great colour. Can't understand why it was not popular.
In Australia, I think its popularity or lack of was due to the fact that it was poorly represented in sales brochures, web simulators and the difficulty of being able to capture, in photos, the true essence of this Colour.

I have to admit myself, I would never have considered Guard if not for seeing it in real life, in the full sun, then in over cast. I could hardly believe it was the same colour shown in sales brochures and photos available. The lack of real live samples to view made it hard for most of us to imagine and consider. By the time we were able to see them in the flesh, the colour was discontinued. Same goes for the comp orange, I seen one in the flesh today for the first time and it looked amazing. I must have seen 20-30 cars over the past 12 months. I think when ordering, most people would have ordered what they had seen either in the flesh and liked, or what photographed well, the others who pioneered before any cars were seen would have chosen colours they were already familiar with, loved and trusted.
Of course one mans treasure is another mans trash;)

I agree with what you say but in the States they would have seen them plenty but obviously it must not of been a big seller? But then I wonder why CO got the axe? It was popular  look at this one, one of the best ive seen!

I'm not so sure it wasn't popular over in the states and the rest of the world.
This may not be accurate, but it's interesting results in any case.

The reality is, these colours were not dropped due to popularity. Car Manufactures drop colours, introduce new ones, add options, hold back options all in the name of stimulating sales.

I wonder how many people would love to have a option of colour in their interior here in Aust? New colours and features or options keep sales alive, without it we wouldn't have the product in the first place.
Awesome colour that Comp orange, great shots too. Truly a worthy pony colour in ever sence.
The other reason for dropping colours is that it keeps the second hand market in good shape. If your hooked on Guard green or Comp orange or any other discontinued colour your gonna need to buy a MY 16 car coz they sure ain't making any more!

Spotted this cool vid on YouTube... In German but any Mustang head would find this very cool. Imagine having a trackside driving school like this in Aus... :first:

I saw this Guard GT at the dealership a while back, it looks so good, especially in the sunlight.

And while we're on the topic of Competition Orange, the is one I took for a test drive in the UK a few months ago and is actually what convinced me to buy a Mustang.

I always imagined Comp orange to be a real vibrant orange when in fact it's a real nice tone. True muscle car colour

Well that's depressing. :(
You wait so long only for that to happen. Feel sorry for them.
