Love the reaction people have, whether it's an older person, more nostalgic or a younger one who just thinks it looks badass.
As we left a roll racing event, bunch of guys sitting around a McLaren P1(!)and I hear them commenting, "...the blue stripes on white is just hot..."

It's one thing to look good in the parking lot of Modell's, it's another to get looks at an event like that!!
That's what I love about our cars! Especially with the white/blue. Even someone who isn't really a car person can tell there's something different about it. Something special.

Mine's been at a shop for almost a week getting stone guard installed. I'm going through serious withdrawal symptoms right now :cwl:

Get her back from getting stone guard installed. Previous owner had Ceramic Coating installed. Shame I had to remove it from the applied areas; but I'm thinking I'll have it coated again. Especially the wheels to help mitigate that lovely brake dust!

Also had the Shelby inserts installed on the front splitter. Put on the classic white shift knob and some Ford Performance oil catch cans (no photos). Ready for a road trip now!

Stripesource stripe kit. Color reminded me of toy slot cars that Dad got me as a kid. I do love the red pinstripe but I think I prefer the factory Navy over this. Going to leave ‘em for a while and see how they hold up and then order the Navy.

I forgot this thread was a thing! Not the best pic ever by any means, but I like it for some reason...

Your are most welcome! :)

I have been vacillating for quite some time on staying with 19" or going to 20" when I get away from the OEM rims that came with the car and just can't make my mind up. Then, I see cars like yours that make me question myself over and over again.

Did you lower the car or do you have a more sidewall on the tires? It just seems to sit really well with not too much gap between the tire and fender arch...

No they are 30 series tires 305/315 mps4s for street use. The car is not lowered. I think because the rims are wider and the tires being more “square“ on the rims vs “stretched like the skinnier stock 35 series mpss….that and the photo angle … has the gap looking less. Here is a pic when i put wheels on, lower angle, granted not settled from being jacked up, but close. The new wheel even looks larger diameter than the stock just because of the design and color I think. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions, more than happy to provide my thought process and experience with the swap.
