Tiny detail here but curious, just recently I realized mine is black stitching all the way around, most ive seen are red, apparently tech pack or track pack dont influence the stitching color, the cars that arrived with mine were all in red except for mine.

OP said that other Cars arrived with the red stitching. Pretty much doesn't have to do with the R model unless that dealer got several Rs and his non-R.

I looked at mine and it has the red stitching and the perforated leather.

I think it's the lighter weight version. It improves the performance! ;)

edit: 2016 tech pack car. I took delivery in mid November 2015. Not sure on build date.

Mine is perforated leather with the red stitching. 2016 track pack car built 11/11/2015.

disneyfun1 above listed his 10/22/2015 built car with perforated leather/red stitching as well.

If you are on to something that it might be based on build date, maybe we'll find the crossover points is somewhere between our 11/11 and 12/8 cars.
