I'll guess rabbit then. Final answer.You don't know how many rabbits you have, until you take a stroll in the early AM. Most here come out very late at night or early morning, to have run of the place and avoid most dangers. Should have chosen that first.

I think it's a rabbit. I have seen it in my back yard lately. The Owl has been around for years. No harm to the Mustang. Not sure about the rabbit.

I don’t know. There’s some rats in the city (Chicago) that are the size of small dogs. They can probably hop further than me
