centri blowers come in soft and are deceptively fast IMHO. But you really are missing the most potent area of your powerband. How much power could this setup be making by 6500rpm? 600-650whp? If you are doing highway pulls that isnt enough power to feel super quick yet in my book. If you have the traction to hook up in lower gears it should pull pretty good though.

Something to consider regarding how fast a car can feel... Your acceleration peak G was already limited by traction with a mostly stock car. You can add all the power you want, and the vehicle will not gain in peak acceleration G. It will just have the power to carry its peak acceleration into higher gears and speeds. So in short, whatever acceleration you felt in first or second on the verge of wheel slip, that is the hardest its ever going to pull no matter how much power you have. Until you start adding grip.

C'mon guys, if you need to rev past 6,000 and only have 1,000 rpm of "noticeable" power, then that's crap.

Until these cars have AWD I'm staying away from FI as much as the thought has tempted me often ... not disrespecting those of you who can put the power down with massive sticky rubber but that's not what I want.

Just my opinion.

You can make a lot of power below 6000rpm if you want to. Use turbos or screws/rotors. Noticeable is a relative term. Try and race a boosted S550 with your bolt-on car, and tell me if you noticed anything.

Lol wut??

To OP. Add more injector/BAP then tune. Put on a known Dyno meaning you know what other cars have put down on it. And go from there. After I put my P1sc and did all the street tuning it made 577/467 with power falling after 6600 bad! All the way down to 540 at 7500. I didn’t feel like making the stock manifold work since I had a gt350 that I got a hell of a deal on sitting at home. Haven’t looked back since...but tune tune tune.

I get a kick out of these threads. If the car is making 10 lbs of boost and it feels like your headers did either you are crazy or something is wrong. I barely felt headers on my car but my first WOT pull with the Paxton was killer and that was only like 15 degrees with lund tuning it. Put some ID 1050x injectors and turn it to 12 lbs of boost.

well i have the p1sc kit installed. got tune all dialed it. car is a,16 gt 6spd. mods are p1sc at 10psi. 52lb injectors.bap. kooks long tubes. no cats full 3" exhaust. gotta say im not super impressed with the power. it feels, like the difference after i put headers on. im seeing 10psi on gauge. seeing 17 degrees timing on 93. i am running out of fuel according to lund around 6500rpm. does that seem right? i guess i was just expecting more out of the setup.
If you went from NA, to ProCharged

And it doesn't feel like a rocketship.

Something is very wrong.

Are you just just stabbing the gas at low rpm? Gotta hit it at the sweet spot and let that rev out.

Ya time for bigger injectors and retune. Anything in mine above 3k feels like a damn rocket ship and it just keeps pulling all the way to Redline.

The first thing you'll notice are tail lights disappearing into the distance.

They provide like 47# injectors with the stage 2 Rousch. No way you should be running out of fuel. No way. A basic P1 with headers should have you around 575whp and 480wtq as a guess. If you are coming from NA, that's a 200whp increase.

I'll tell you a story. I installed my D1 with Lund tune. They said all my logs were perfect but the car wasn't making power. I could barely beat a stock 6th gen. I had another awesome tuner check my logs and he basically said it was junk. So after Lund couldnt or wouldn't do anymore I switched tuners. My new tuner told me to do a compression check. Well, my post about that is near the top of this forum about low compression. Anyway, I said send it and got a new tune even though I found low compression. The new tune was a beast compared to Lund even with two dead cylinders, night and day.

My question is are you seeing any knock. My Lund tune had major knock and they never told me. I had to point it out. Every car is different so every tune has to be different.

Check your log for knock and check compression. My logs showed +5 to +9 on knock and after I said something they said it was false, but I ended up with broken ringlands.

Your problem is not your Procharger. With my new motor and killer tune with D1 and headers, it's a nasty bitch. And I'm going e85 soon.

And last, you shouldn't have to hit 6500rpms to feel the power difference. Even at half throttle my car is a beast.

You should always review your own logs before sending to tuner, no way in hell im sending a log with multiple counts of knock and accepting “logs look good” no matter the tuner.
