Lund is a very well known tuner and I am sure they make mistakes but the review above is not the norm for those guys. Jon Jr. has been pretty conservative with my tune and my car runs very good for the mods. Sometimes install issues create tuning problems.

C'mon guys, if you need to rev past 6,000 and only have 1,000 rpm of "noticeable" power, then that's crap.

Until these cars have AWD I'm staying away from FI as much as the thought has tempted me often ... not disrespecting those of you who can put the power down with massive sticky rubber but that's not what I want.

Just my opinion.
So you want to crank the horsepower way up, but you don't want to improve the only part touching the road?

I have pc d1x on 93 pump and the same bap u have. i have id 1050x injectors. 13lbs of boost @ 7700 rpm, stock 4.88 inch pulley, 17 degrees of timing & 723 rwhp. With no running out of fuel issues. Yeah something is wrong with your set up because my car is scary fast!! Id say bigger injectors and a professional dyno tune will fix your problem!

True, but we pay professionals to give us a good opinion. Same reason people have me work on their servers for billion dollar companies. They don't know what server logs look like just like I don't know car logs. There is a reason we pay tuners.

Don’t need to be a tuner to be able to see lambda, Knock, timing, airflow, boost and several other parameters.

True. We all know sh*t can happen sometimes with any tuner. I have a Lund tune in my car and it has always run fantastic. I'm over 600 at the wheel with my Phase 1, headers, 93 tune, and other items in my sig. Nothing super blacktop shattering, but I'm not after that. Smooth, and I MEAN SMOOTH, reliable, plenty of power for me and no BS. The OP without a doubt should feel a H*LL of a difference. I know when I got in mine the first time after the supercharger install I almost sh*t my britches!

Speak to Lund about it. They have the logs and experience with MANY cars just like yours.
I drive Jon and the boys crazy with my incessant questions BUT, it gets me what I want and puts them in a position to be able to provide what I need from them.
I'm tipping they didn't advise you to fit those injectors for a start.
No offence, but ask your tuner, take their advice, live long and prosper.

Another to consider is if your running out of fuel and Jon is running your car I guarantee he is being real.conservative at this time, trust me I know. And just because your seeing 17 degrees of timing, where are u seeing that 17 degrees at???U just looking at the max timing in.the min/max section of the log??because I bet Lund is not ramping the timing in fast or running it out the back.with.fuel.issues.

I agree, this is not the norm and probably not the whole story. I have always had Lund tunes and had amazing results. When you have the car on the dyno and go through the tune revision process, it is amazing to see the improvements and how it is done. Jon Jr. is great to work with.

This is a very good point. Jon Jr. will be very cautious with your car. We did a 5000 rpm pull on 93. As soon as he saw 15lbs of boost, we changed fuels, this was on the first pull. So speaking from my experience with him, if he sees an issue he will be super safe and that's what your paying him for.

I think once you put your injectors in (smart move!), you should put it on a dyno and have Lund remote tune it. It was some of the best money I have spent, especially when tuning cams and other mods to get the most gains for your dollars.

Get your exhaust looked at, specifically the cat's. Make sure theres no restriction going on there. I saw a coyote with a procharger setup come into my buddy's exhaust shop, guy was complaining about no power. Turns out his drivers side cat was plugged solid, killing all of his power. Not sure of the cause, but maybe worth a look?
