Hey everyone, definitely a long shot here, but will post anyway.
I'm looking to swap rear ends with someone within reason of what I currently have.
I have a 2017 GT PP, 3.73, 6k miles on it. Looking to go to 3.31's with similar mileage/use.
I'm in the central FL area, cheers :)
Thats crazy, maybe it was the heat, or gas? What kind of timing were you getting if you recall? I took my car into VMP, bone stock w/ cats, had the full gen2 kit installed with the upgraded TB and put down 640whp on 17 degress of timing. The temp that day was definitely not 95, probably more...
Good choice ma man! I'm fortunate enough to have VMP right around the corner and had them install my Stage 2 back in January. This is actually my car they did the video on, yeah... kinda a big deal... lol.
But in all seriousness, I've had zero issues with the kit, tuning, or anything...
Gotta make things easy to text and drive, look at everyone around you when you're driving now, that's the future. Car's that drive themselves so you can browse your phone.
Fortunately I didn't have to actually do this work myself, I have a good friend in the muffler business that's a pro at custom fabricating. He did the x-pipe as well! :)
Just got the cat's removed, very happy with it so far.
At Idle, the sound is great, not much louder than before with the cats, just deeper. I feel like I can still keep it quiet (ish) rolling through a neighborhood.
Edit: I'll try and get a sound clip up tomorrow on cold start.
But upon...
Thanks, and thanks everyone. That pretty much sums up what I was thinking. The money definitely isn't worth the minimal gains, I could use it towards a new clutch, suspension stuff, or even upgrading my gen2 to a gen3 vmp blower. And hell, at the end of the day if I'm not happy, I can still...
Hey y'all, just curious. Have any of you done test on FI cars with running LT's catless compared to just keeping the stock manifolds and doing a cat delete?
Pro's/Con's? Worth/Gaines? Is the sound difference relatively the same?
Just curious, I'm in the market for purchasing LT's, but...
Financed mine and took it straight over for a blower, never looked back. I have the same mindset as you, I have the money, life is short, etc..worth every $.
