I have a 2015 P-1SC-1 HO setup with a factory sized ATI Damper: 6.78”. ProCharger claims the limit of this head unit to be 65,000rpm. I’m wanting to know which pulley I should go with to maximize this head unit. I’m able to rev the car to 8,100rpm now and I’m trying decide between two different sized pulleys being either a 3.250 pulley in which I’ll be spinning the head unit at 69,281rpm or a 3.375 pulley resulting in 66,715rpm. Is the extra ~3,000rpm from the 3.250 pulley dangerous? If so should I just settle for the 3.375 and play it safe?

Also thought it might be worth mentioning that I’m current on a 3.125 pulley (from my old setup where my redline was at 7,500) and I’m making power all the way up till 7,800rpm which is spinning the head unit to 69,383rpm, but the new 8,100rpm limiter is bring the head unit to 72,052rpm which seems way too high to be comfortable.

hoping to get some opinions on this before I pull the trigger, thanks!

69k is no problem. I've went way past that for a long time. I've spun the p1sc to 72k before. Went 9.0 at 150 with that setup.

Lol planning on getting a p1x or something of that nature in the future. But I just got a built short block, fuel system and a lot of other mods so I’m just laying back for now with the setup I have now till that time comes.

Give it everything then. Replace it if it fails.

Impressive. Just trying to gauge some longevity. Makes me consider the 3.250 more than I had for sure, and it seems like an aggressive but safe option after hearing that. Thanks for the input!

Not wanting to sending it all the way just looking for an aggressive yet semi-safe option. I’d rather be able to sell the unit and make some money back than just send the small thing to the moon trying to make 750whp lol.

Attempt at your own risk FYI. If drag racing, just know that your IATs will be high. I'd recommend the stage 2 intercooler and maybe some methanol injection.

Spinning to 72k, it will make like 850whp...

Will take that into consideration. I do have the stage 2 intercooler just not any methanol injection to help with any extra cooling. But thank you again!

Well since you don't, consider nitrous as well. Just started testing it and IAT reduction seems to be more than the meth. Need it to be hot again to make a better comparison.

What kind of temp reduction you talking?

Optimization my friend.
Lol I guess I don’t have that. But I might just go the safe route and get the 3.375. The 3.275 might be more than I’m willing to risk for the reward. Just wanting to keep the thing happy for a while.
