Nice job on the tractor. I have always liked the Ford 8N and 9N models.
I did the IH424 a few years ago. Came from Dupont estate.
The small tractor is 70 yr old. My Father built it from scratch and won the Mechanics ILLUSTRATED "Golden Hammer Award" in 1954.

Thanks. Love the IH. Your Dad had some skill and talent. It is pretty cool that you still have it. And that "rumble seat" is way cool.

What's powering the smaller machine?

I am an avid cyclist now, and recently put together my 15 year old slot car track back together.

More info needed on slot car track! How many lanes(I count 9), analog or digital, plus it looks like some kind of crossover at the top, like a huge bull ring.

Ah yes! We have 4 active lanes (driver controlled) and one drone/pace car lane for when we have a serious accident. All participants are forced to go at a reduced speed.

Its hard to tell by the pictures, but in each of the turns the lanes start to narrow in on each other to mimic a racing line. Its more noticeable in turn one... ill upload a picture of that later.

The crossover section you see is basically there to force the cars to use both a high and low line every other lap.

We basically have no rules for the cars except for a size limit. Anything goes otherwise.

I like the concept!

Wow…. That is really neat! I had the old school AFX slot car tracks growing up, but have never seen a track set up like yours.

Where do you get track components like that?

Are there replica 1/4 mile tracks to do mini-drags?

Some hobby shops have 1/24 scale 1/4 mile tracks, which is about 55 feet. Times are usually around 1.2 - 1.7 seconds.

See the video! (I hope it uploads!)

Well we made the actual track out of wood and the copper rails are just copper stained glass hobby tape. The transformers and controller plugs were donated by Carrera Evolution parts.

My dad and I built this... 15ish years ago. Since then it has been moved into my new house and rebuilt to almost its former glory.

We prefer the Indy cars, and I particularly like to add my own wings and add weights in the right spots to improve handling. There are no magnets on this track. Its all tire, wing, and gravity providing the grip.
