other hobbies/passions other than the mustang?

obviously cars are cool but not many of us have a one track mind. so what are your other hobbies?

for me i have a small-ish metal lathe and mill i make some parts on and i have more money invested in reloading than i probably should, lol.

I built a tiny house in the high desert of Klamath County Oregon. Primitive, but a perfect getaway for me. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea...oil lamps, wood heat, heat water on the woodstove. I do have cell service so I can stay connected to the outside world as much or as little as I choose. I get 4 stations on the radio, Walkman fills in the gaps for music

My little brother is a controls specialist, we installed a 12 volt electromagnet with a M18 battery in the base, that’s gave us 800# pull. The top disc on the hammer is 410 stainless so it’s magnetic. You have to be “Worthy” to get it off the base!

You metalworking guys amaze me.... I can build all kinds of things out of wood, but never got the gene for metalworking skills. If you asked me to build something out of metal, no matter the size, I would need 2 semi trucks on site..... 1 semi truck with all the new metal I would go through, and another semi truck to haul off all the pieces I screwed up.

They are really not that different.. instead of glue, you weld it together! I guess it’s what your comfortable with, I have been working with metal for over 40 years. For me, it’s a lot of fun! Not only that, stainless will probably last forever!
