Ordered date changed on Cotus

Hello all,

Like everyone else on the forum, I have on the Cotus tracking page every hour on the hour, and to my surprise, yesterday I noticed my Ordered date changed from May 20 to September 26 without me or my dealer making any changes. Anyone had this happen? Any idea what it could mean?

Also, I have been tracking 3 other orders from my dealer and they all have been built as of 9/29. 1 even shows in transit. Unfortunately, my local dealer doesn't have an explanation why my order wasn't pulled or why it changed. Needless to say, I'm not a happy camper considering the reports of people taking deliveries already. Ford Customer Service, please chime in!!

Same thing happened to me. My dealer put in a call to Ford apparently to see what was taking so long to even get a VIN and they switched either the priority or changed it to a dealer stock order. I originally ordered 5/23 and it now shows 9/9 on COTUS. However, a Ford customer service rep said it's still showing 5/23 in their computer.

Chiming in, Marcos!

I did check my tracking system and I'm showing the order date as being May 20th. I do not have any other updates to offer at this time regarding status though.

The Ford Order Tracking site (Cotus) is still a pilot program and is not always the most up-to-date. Sometimes dealers use the same order number for multiple orders but I'm not showing that in this case.

Once vehicle orders are received at the assembly plant, the order in which the vehicles will be built is at the plant's discretion. The key goal is to arrange production scheduling so that vehicles with similar features and options are manufactured in one batch.

I understand the wait is frustrating but please hang in there with us.

Thank you Rachel, I heard you were a God-sent, but now I know it first hand. My concern was the order date showing differently, but knowing you still see May 20, I'm at peace, lol. Thank you for the reply.

At least yours shows up on cotus. mine stopped showing up three days ago but Tricia says it should be ok since the site it's still on pilot phase. It still worries me though
