Hey Paul, which tire do you feel is a best all around tire Goodrich Comp 2 A/S or the Conti. DSW 06? I was originally looking at the Goodrich, but they were on national back order.
I'm running the conti's, and the look of them is great. Ordered the BFGoodrichs's and found out a few weeks later that they are on that national back order you are referring too. After seeing the pictures of the BFG's, I'm now glad I went with the conti's. Although, the steering response and cornering isn't great, but it's great in a sense for daily driving. Also, on the highway, there is a bit of road noise...but still amazing tires for the price. Very happy with the conti's.

To be honest I just went by what my folks always told me growing up which was following the sidewall. Didn't know there was a manufacturer recommended PSI until now. Adjusted the pressure. Thanks! And yeah, got my torque wrench set to 150 ft lbs.
Gotcha, sorry if I came off as condescending. I'm just always surprised when my family and friends (who aren't car people) follow the sidewall pressure and wonder why their ride is harsh or they're replacing tires so frequently.

Back in the day tires were part of the suspension which is why cars had crazy sidewall heights all the time. That's not really necessary anymore and manufacturers set their stock pressures based on applications of the vehicle, its size and weight, etc. Just trying to save you some money and keep you safe

Not condescending at all, one of the reasons I'm on here is to learn. My parents were not car people at all so I'm just learning as I go, and so far this forum has been a huge help.

I know this is a bit old, any issues with the BFG G-Force COMP-2 A/S tires after a few thousand miles? Any vibrations or balance issues. I was told my P Zero Neros are vibrating by the Ford Engineer that checked my car after a new rear differential was installed and didn't completely remove the vibration.

So far, I've put maybe 6-8k miles on them. And what I can say is that they grip and stick pretty well. I've done 2 burnouts and they still have a ton of tread. Although since I've added mods they spin a little more in 1-2. As for balancing issues. The car feels fine, on a straight I can let go of my wheel and it'll ride straight, unless the payment is uneven or there's strong winds. I have ran over a ton of curbs which may have throw some balancing off but I have not noticed anything. I'm not sure what you mean by vibrations. But my car has its own rattles from my exhaust and messed up speaker. If you mean vibrations as in you feel it shake like your running over a little bump. I've had that happen once or twice but honestly think it was just the roads, since it doesn't happen often.

Vibration as in the road is good and you can feel a general vibration through the car. Thanks for the update.
