Congrats on the car. My car in nearly identical trim should be here any day now. Can't wait.

At least quality control should be better with latemodel 2015s and 2016s..Lots of war stories especially with early 2015s..Good luck.

Am thinking about ordering a '16 but not sure. After reading the Camaro reviews, I think Ford missed an opportunity here to do more with the '16. Most likely now the '17 is the model coming with a lot of upgrades to it.

I ordered my 2016 GT on 05/18/15 and I watched the dealer hit submit on the WBDO system and the order was accepted.

Its really up to the sales manager if they want to try to enter it. My dealer gave zero push back on entering the order. They wanted to get it in as soon as they could.

Probably true since we already know what the '16 Mustang is. Could drive a '15 for 2 or 3 years and then upgrade. :D Might get a killer end of model year deal on a '15 so the hit 2~3 years down the road isn't too bad.

Congrats on your upcoming 2016. Two things that I find very commendable about the dealer that you are working with. First, that you and they have established enough trust to have a "handshake agreement"... Not enough trust in business relationships anymore. Kudos to you. And secondly, and more importantly, I noticed that the dealer lent you a car to take your 6 year old for a ride when he asked. That caring is all too absent in most car dealerships today and it's pretty sad. Your dealer's kind gesture I'm sure inspired confidence. Hope your wait is short.

Yeah, it is nice. We have stuck with the same salesman since we moved down to Florida, who has sold us 4 cars over the years. The dealership is AutoNation Ford of Orange Park, Florida if it should be of interest.

Congrats on the imminent Mustang. I waited years for mine; I was going to order an S197 but put that on hold when I heard of the redesign - I don't remember exactly when that was, but I waited years. And then when the S550 was released it didn't make sense to order mine immediately, because it would deliver at the onset of winter. So I waited until this spring... and ordered... and I finally got it 2 days ago. Exceeded my expectations in almost every area, and where it didn't exceed, it met. The wait and anticipation was well worth it.
