Order tracking by dealer

I've sent them a private message. These delays are unacceptable given how much many of us as the early orders have already been screwed around.

I tried fb pm too but no response so posted to the updated visitors post on Ford Australia's fb page.

Ford's social media person put up a pretty bizarre post just now ... quote "Hi Katharine, Australia will start seeing the 2015 Mustang hit the streets from next month! Many Dealers will have Mustangs arriving in their showrooms soon and they'll be the best people to speak to. Have you had a chance to chat to your friendly local Ford Dealership about when they might expect a Mustang or two to hit their floor? Cheers, FordService^JS."

I saw your post the other day & made a comment on it then.
At the same time I also posted - stating I had been waiting for 18 months for my mustang and that I had heard there might be delays in Flat Rock.

their reply was - "we'll look into this and come back to you. Cheers, FordService^JS"

That is the most magnificent pile of steaming horse shit that I have read for ages...I almost wish I used Facebook, just to read the comments.....I guess they have a whole bunch of work experience kids in their media department.

Update on my car:

The build started last week and more details have been loaded on ETIS, namely the large list of minor features. Hopefully still tracking for 5 December Delivery, not sure how that will be possible but it is moving quickly.

Etis told me the car details, deysha told me the build was scheduled for 14/10/2015. Dealer and Ford Australia maintain 5th of December delivery.

Amazing ... so my GT was built 27 August and has an ETA of 12 December. Your Mustang was built 14 October and Ford is saying will be delivered a week before mine. I am lost for words :frusty:

I've learned that Ford don't really care who ordered first. It's a crap shoot. Just build what they feel like on the day.

Why did I order in January and pay $1000 more?

I honestly don't see how my car will be here in December, it might be a miracle if it does. I was always quoted the first two months of when they release

That'd be that random first batch allocation system Bobsp12 ?

I've seen dealer ETA's a week before mine from guys who order this year and I order 16 December 2013.
