I have received my build date now, should be the second week of October, the car should be delivered 5/12/2015. So happy I have the VIN because now all my information comes from a reliable source and not a useless dealer :clap2:

PS: It's alright. I saw that you received your VIN on the 22/09/15. I Received my VIN on the 4/09/15 after placing my order on the 1/7/14 and still no build date......sob.....sob. What did I do wrong?

It was Absolute Black at the time of order, but at the time of production there is no more AB. Order is now Shadow Black. As per my confirmation.

To my understanding they are both exactly the same. Just different names.

You say you have received your build date and it should be the second week of October. I don't want to be pedantic but I would have thought that you either have the actual date or you don't...lol.
The reason I say the above is that Deysha told me that in my case it shows that I have a tentative week of 12/10/15 but no actual build date. I am starting to get frustrated considering I ordered my care on the 1/6/14 and received my VIN number on the 1/9/15. I feel like I am being left behind.

My build date as such is not a specific date it is a date range. Deysha/Nick is my only real source of accurate information at this stage, so I will take what ever information I can get!

Guys,
you'll all have nervous breakdowns if you pay any attention to build weeks.
I had Sept 1, then shifted to Sept 14, and then it totally disappeared.
Try and relax until you get your window stickers, then for the first time ever you'll have your build/blend day and you've got something definite to go by.
Until then, its all speculation and corporate bullshit!

Still hard to put up with though!

Just received a revised ETA from my dealership.

ETA into the dealership (in Perth) has formally slipped from 7 November 2015 to 12 December 2015.

Seems there must be some delays with the upfitters for the first Australian production shipment :(

So 15 weeks from build to delivery.
