Front End Clearance for Trailering

I'll tell you this. My race ramps have a 6.3 degree angle and with no splitter on yet I have 1.5" or so. But as I pull up on the trailer onto the steel ramps it becomes closer. That's why I put the scissor jacks under the dovetail to prevent the trailer from sinking as the weight of the car compresses the trailer.

All you gents that tow your car, how do you tie it down? Are you going through the wheels an axle strap? Has anyone bought the tie-downs from Ford Performance?
