I suspect that it will be standard on GT350, but replaced by something on the GT350R

I would not be surprised if this is the case. Pretty much every interview and press release has gone on and on about how magneride is so instrumental to this car.

If it is standard, that will make the rumored <$53K base price that much more of a value.

I hope it does come standard. I don't want to have to buy any fluff packages to get it. The base model they have been showing seems to have everything I'd want.

That's how they hype it up to make you want it, then when it comes to ordering it, they nail you with the option. Look at all the car commercials and adds. They always show the fully loaded one, but give the base price. No different here.
