I had this exact thing happen to me with my last car and I needed to get a ride back home to get my spare keys. But with the Mustang, you can't lock your keys in the trunk. If you close the trunk with the keys inside, it honks and pops the trunk again. Quite useful - except when your wife puts a bag with *her* keys inside in the trunk and you want to lock the car.Well, when you have the top down and you toss all of your personal items in the trunk to secure them, just remember not to accidentally bundle your keys with the stuff... That will be a major disappointment for ya if you don't look back and have left the car....![]()
