It's after midnight, so it was technically yesterday. Roads were clear and salt free, it was cloudy with almost no wind and 37 degrees. The next weeks forecast is predicting daytime lows in the teens and overnight in single digits.

I grabbed the opportunity to get the Shelby off the flatstoppers and get out for a little cruise and burn up some of that $6.99 a gallon alcohol free race gas she's loaded up with. Did a little over 40 miles on country back roads and had some fun. Stopped at a local coffee shop that hosts a cars and coffee all summer. Nice day, little lonely at the coffee shop but it was fun nevertheless.

Nice story of a little one on one time with your car. Many of us northerners are familiar with the weekly Shelby weather watch. Around here the target temp is 50. Guess it's all relative depending on where you live. Your car looks real sharp BTW. :ford:

Right there with you. At 56, I DD my R (wife: "You better do it while you can."). I don't need company to enjoy every minute in this car. Don't even need the radio.

PS: Love the stripe delete, and love the black. Together = sooo sexy.

Very sweet. Love when owners do this! I took mine out Tuesday (close to 60 in VA) after about 2 weeks of blah. Its looking good for tomorrow at 55! I was hoping Saturday at 60, but rain is possible.

I love these drives late at night, I only worry about critters, luckily the list is short for me, dogs, cats, possum, raccoon, occasionally foxes. Luckily no deer, or other big ones!

Glad to see you made it out to the Market - looking forward to starting up the C&C events again when the weather is nice enough to sit outside, hang out with fellow car-guys (and girls), and enjoy some breakfast.

To quote the late, great Paul Newman (a car guy in his own right) in the movie Cars...... "music, sweet music."
