I get it, I really do. I've been tempted myself, but like others have said, the cost of rubber is just too high for a few seconds worth of thrill.

Besides, everything about a modern car, from the tires, to the suspension, to the "nannies" are all designed to keep you from losing traction, which really is a good thing. The reason muscle cars back in the day could burn out so easily was because they didn't have the chassis or the tires that could put the power to the ground.
I agree about the old muscle cars versus today muscle cars with all of their technologies. Have Fun with the Stang!!

I am a 19GT A10. Their are threads where people who drag race state the ABS, Stability Trac System does not fully disable while in S mode or when in Drag mode etc when car starts to slide side ways. For me, I just feel it would be so easy, while in any mode, be able to quickly push a button, have some fun, then push the button again to reactivate. I am sure this is not for everyone, I totally understand.
Should I not have been able to do this? Lol

with advanced TC off, I been able to light em up, staying in it through 2nd...and chirpin 3. ALOT OF FUN!! keep it higher RPMs.
