Has anyone gone to the Evolution Performance Driving School? I am thinking of surprising the better half (who likes to take the car out in the dead of night and zip down the lonely highways) with a weekend there as a birthday gift. (I will also partake, natch, as it is my car ;).) I am looking into the two CA locations: Auto Club Speedway in Fontana (August); or Marina Municipal Airport in Marina (October).

Thanks in advance.

PS Yes, we know how to use the paddle shifters (stick, too)

I was considering performance driving school of some kind, then I found my local SCCA Autocross group, and I did their one-day training course for a few hundred bucks. It was a good course with knowledgeable instructors, but I think the best bang-for-buck is to just go to a few autocross events. They're a lot of fun, rarely more than $50 and at some events, you can run in Novice class and put on your flashers and an instructor will hop into your car before your lap to give you tips.

This is a fantastic idea. Took a nanosecond on google to find it in San Diego.
Thank you.
