Well, I've had an email from my dealer saying that he expects all the original orders to be built by next June and he's not expecting mine to be here before Christmas!

So guys, unless I get a build date within the month I'll be cancelling my order.

I'm just at the point now that I don't even want the car to arrive until next spring. I know I can't have it before the snow comes, so it might as well arrive in April of next year when I can enjoy it. As such I'm totally over the delivery date rush, and have mentally settled for just driving it next year instead.

I wonder what they mean by the original orders? Hopefully they're including the latest in that estimation as if I had to wait until next June for a car I ordered in February this year i'd be fairly hacked off. Cancelling is not an option for me however.

I'm similar in that if it isn't going to arrive in November then late January/February would probably be better.

i'm scared to call mine now!
My dealer told me mid-November delivery last contact but no build information. I didn't hold out much hope for that but now we find that later orders than mine have been built. I see no point in contacting my dealer again. Might as well just get on with life...

I'm in the same boat as STARK and a few others. Our cars are built, sat in a yard somewhere awaiting transport to the docks.

When this will be, no one seems to know. Its been over a year of waiting for us and this final few weeks are like hell. If ours are getting pushed just to satisfy a bigger delivery batch for Ford UK, then clearly some customers win while the 'faithful' lose.

I sound like a spoilt child but I'm at the point where i just want my car. The silence from Ford UK is the worst part of this experience.

Bet you don't get this treatment if you ordered an RS?!:brokenheart:

Seems plausible, but only if they are building at a much faster rate than we originally anticipated. Good news for me - surely I should have an allocated build date, sometime this month perhaps. Emailed my dealer this morning, waiting for reply.

Just called my dealer, said he was going to call me because i know more information than he does!!
Confirmed another delay in delivery to 23rd November.
He cannot get any information on whats happening, seriously getting sick of this now. :frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty::frusty:

when do we start forming a collective to go to the press and start publicly shaming FORD UK for their lack of customer service, etc?
