If you're really lazy you don't want the Tech package, period. Getting in and out of the Recaro's takes work. The work increases as you get older, if you have any back problems, or if you are over weight.

I'd still want a 17 over a 16. You get Andorid Auto and Car Play in the 17's:D

Plausible explanation however my suspicions remain...
So what would me reason for starting this thread be if you are skeptical about my intent?

I don't plan on going to the track. Just trying to see if there are any major differences to warrant the extra money.

To be totally honest I traded my '15 GT for a '16 Camaro SS because I was too cheap to bite the bullet and refused to pay an ADM. Now I have my regrets.

However now I can buy the GT350 for MSRP or less now and really was just asking for input.

Tranny cooler isn't enough of a reason in my opinion. And to me it looks like everything else is pretty much equal. Just am not getting the pricing changes in the 2 years and the packages.

Like I stated, I am taking the lazy way out and figured a few here would know a list of differences. Both cars are black so color is a no issue. Neither has the Recaro track-style seats.

The "troll" should have a white 2017 in about 3 weeks when it hits the dealer.

So, really, does anybody really know the diff, besides the coolers?

Body and trim? Suspension? Seats? Audio system? Etc.....

'Join' date Nov 2014 and you have to ask these questions....
Very suspect imo...
I've got my :dnftt: sign at the ready.

They are essentially identical, the 2017 convenience pack is the same as the 2016 tech pack, with coolers and the track pack spoiler added.

Minor cosmetic differences (door panels, door sill logos)

Thank you. So doors panel diff? Audio is the same. I had a 15 GT with the Shaker and it rocked.

Audio is definitely different between 16 Tech and 17 Conv. I can't tell you specifically what is, but the audio performance in the low-end is marginally better. Could entirely be software tweaks on Sync 3 v1.0 vs Sync 3 v2.0 though.

The Track Pack items on the 16's are now standard on the 17. The 17 Conv Pack swaps out the manual Recaro's with powered heated/vented seats. The 17 Tech Pack cars have all the same extras as the Conv Pack but has the manual Recaro's that are not heated/vented. The Recaro's are standard equipmemt on both 16 and 17 model years.

The 17 adds Apple Car Play and Android Auto. This will be available as a free upgrade for 16 owners at some point.

There certainly may be differences in the audio but do any GT350's come with a subwoofer? I know my 17 Conv Pack does not.
