Warning about Bobs Oil Separator, it will NOT WORK with Performance Pack cars. It does not clear the strut brace.

you dont have to clean the filter. You just empty the "catch can". The bottom screws off and you can just pour out the oil.

Waste of your money if you don't have a turbo or supercharger

Funny, I have collected 1/2 teaspoon in only 280 miles on my naturally aspirated GT.......

I get it, some people don't wanna spend unnecessary money and to some this mod is unnecessary but to me and 100's more people the thought of keeping the intake track nice and clean is well worth the short money on an oil catch can.

You obviously aren't going to buy one but why spew useless comments and confuse people who don't understand exactly what one does or why it might be worth it (for them) to spend some money on it.

Anybody know why it is primarily an issue on just the passenger side? I do have a JLT waiting for my car, and I believe that it is true, but I never saw an explanation of why it is mostly a problem for one cylinder bank.

The passenger side is where the air comes out and is connected to the manifold. The other side is where the clean air goes in.

It's is a useless item. The car is made for the oil to go into the intake track. No harm is done. You can waste your money that's ok but don't try and tell people it's a needed item when it's not. Your car will last many miles with or without that catch can.
Accept that all that oil that goes by will over time build up carbon deposits that will sit on the valves and in the manifold but whatever everyone will do what they want and feel ok with

If you'll notice I did not say it was needed. I said to me it was worth it. Some people care, some don't.

Not true.

You will see more juice on a FI car, but you'll still see it on a NA car. Been there, done it.
