I was surprised to open the package from UPR and no instruction. I guess they rely on you tube or gentlemen like Bob to pass on good information. The plug and play has a clearly marked arrow to assist. Overall though it is a quality product and by all accounts a sound long term investment.

The only downside I can find is that some simple instructions regarding orientation should be included. I dont think an a4 photocopied piece of paper would break the bank.
Its actually disappointing, because they have done 99% off the hard work by making a great product and left out the easy bit, simple markings or instructions. (How many people have this fitted around the wrong way?)

If you dont take it apart, it will be easy, but the first thing I did was pull it apart to checkout the design and quality. Its only after you do that you realise there are no obvious markings to make life easy.

Simple flow direction arrow on the can and a D for dirty and C for clean on the hoses would make it the complete product.

Thanks for relaying the instructions, I had to read it a few times but it eventually makes sense and im about to go and fit it.

I ordered mine just over a week ago...arrived today. Hopefully, there are no issues with your order and it will turn up shortly.

Very impressed with the quality.

Cheers,
James

About to order a UPR catch can for the EB, UPR sells both single valve and a double valve which is about $100 more, I know the principle behind the Catch Can oil collection but is the double valve type worth the extra cost, thanks for advice

Found what I was looking for
Single Valve Catch Can – The single valve catch can is for naturally aspirated engines that aren’t driven with performance in mind. In other words, non-boosted applications, meaning they do not have a supercharger or turbo system.
Dual Valve Catch Can – The dual valve catch can is necessary in forced induction engines and engines that have been modified with a focus on performance driving. If a vehicle is boosted with a supercharger or turbo system or has been modified for high output it requires the dual valve system.
Monster Catch Can – The Monster can is a higher volume can and should be used in forced induction applications with more than 15 lbs. of boost pressure. We also recommend the higher volume Monster can for those that live in colder climates with winter temperatures reaching below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Colder temperatures with more moisture in the air will cause the can to fill faster, with a bigger can the less you’ll have to drain it.

I received mine a couple of weeks ago however the shipping status is still not available on their site. You might find that it is already in transit but best to check with them.

Apparently it is now in transit. Still shocked that mine which was ordered weeks ago only just shipped yet another ordered a week ago has already arrived....

Oh well lesson learned for me

Ordered my UPR Dual Valve Catch Can last week. Just waiting for it to get made I believe as demand has been higher than expected.

Not sure why they sell the single valve can then, should I have bought a dual in this case?

I found a lot more information from UPR here:

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33951

It seems that Single is fine, Dual is better and Clean Side is only if you're blowing white smoke. It's questionable whether a stock Ecoboost really needs any of them, but I plan to do a little modding down the track, so the Dual sounded like the best option.

It does, I have it, very easy to install and looks like a factory part!

I found several utube clips about the EB one showed very clearly oil/carbon build up on both the second and third sets of valves that had caused the engine to misfire, I have now installed the dual valve, straight forward but found it was easier to install the engine block fitting from underneath by jacking up the front, also I used the threaded hole UPR video showed to mount the unit but had to tap it out to 6mm to get a bolt to fit

Thanks for the extra info. I feel much better about dropping $518AUD on one now instead of later.
