Oil Separator

I was looking for personal experiences with owners that have NEVER put one in their car. Was there any issues with the car? I would like to keep this car forever and on the fence purchasing one. Thank you all for your input. PS The oil that accumulated in the can, does that get put back in or discarded?

Ideally you don't want oil to get sucked back into the engine because oil mist lowers the octane. However, it is not a big deal unless you are super/turbo charging.
There are many different oil separating systems some requires draining, some has a design that will drain back into the crank case.

I have approx. 7k miles on my car and I don't have one. With that being said, I ordered a Bob's Ultimate setup and hope to have it soon. I will take my tb off and look for oil inside when it gets here.

When I saw all the oil in the intake of my Vette, I ordered one for the Mustang. I bought the JLT one because it looks factory.

I have the JLT on mine, and after 4 sessions at track day, it was 1/4 full of oil.

Need one? DAMN RIGHT!

I have nearly 4000 miles on my 2015 Gt with no oil can. I think im down about half quart of oil. I do wonder if having the mod might have have collected some of that.
