This is a very timely post and gives me an idea for a similar path. I applaud you for taking it on. Sucks about the back though....been there.

Did you install the 5.2 oil pan?

Oh mines a ecoboost built for the track so a bunch of suspension upgrades. And brake upgrades. Thing handles like a dream. But not as fast as the v8 but fast enough to have fun . According to the tuner it’s sitting close to 380hp with the tune and bigger intercooler and cia . It’s going to paint on the 24th of this month ao I wanted to knock this out first . So i don’t scratch the new paint in the front lol

Yessir, gotcha, I ran the part number on the pan right after I asked and realized it was a different pan. Fast enough to have fun is what it's about.

I'm going to grab a similar engine support bar to put in a new K-Member and have a few more things in mind.

Yeah the engine support worked great . Was like 80$ on Amazon. I probably should of greased the bearings on the support screw but it’s probably something i will use ince in my lifetime lol.

Do you think this could be done by raising the engine enough without removing the subframe?

Also, how does your engine feel after the balance shaft delete, and how much oil does your car take now?
