Well my GT has about 3400 miles on it. Mostly track, with some casual driving here and there. I started to notice at 1400 miles the pan always seemed damp with oil back near the transmission. I thought maybe I had done something when I lowered my engine so I did not take it in for warranty. Well today I went to swap out my oil pan for some thing a little more fitting for track use. I figured while I am doing a couple thinks a MMR pan and gasket would kill two birds with one stone. Fix my leaks and give me some baffles for tbose high g road course days. Well when I finally got the stock pan off it was evident this was a factory install issue. Definetly a warranty claim that would of been justified. In the back corners of the gasket there was enough sealant for 3 or 4 mustangs. It looked like it had dried before they got the pan on and it created the perfect little uneven surface for oil to escape.

Looks like a lot of work! Would have been a good time to check rod side clearances.
