So what was the final result? How long did the dealership have it and is it running well now? I think that I have the same issue so I want to be prepared.

Had a bad valve seal on driver side cylinder head. Replaced head with new. Runs fine now. Took dealer a couple of weeks to get part in and do the work.

They repaced the whole head because of just a bad valve guide seal? Or was the guide also bad? A valve guide seal can be replaced without taking off the head, or needing a new head. Glad they fixed it.

It was warranty/dealer work. They're not going to screw with repairing the head when they can just order a whole new one and swap it out.
