I installed a JLT oil catch can about 2.5 years ago on the passenger side when my GT was N/A. Would get about a teaspoon of oil every 3 - 4K miles.

Went boosted at 15K and noticed the oil in the catch can began to diminish. I now have just over 23K miles, total.

I checked it for the first time in about 6 months and it's bone dry.

Not sure what to think

I used to get about an oz every 4k miles na. Now I don't get anything boosted. I ran it on the passanger side and driver side to see if there was any difference but nothing either way. I ended up removing the catch can. Hoping the meth will keep the engine clean enough on its own.

I agree with the rings finally providing an optimal seal with the added ring tension of the boost. Just makes sense to me.

I am running about 9 psi.

I think the Gen3 Coyote is amazing.

Switched from 5w20 to 5w50 when boosted? Probably helped reduce. Wouldnt expect it to be bone dry though.

10W-40 full synthetic. Hot where I live.

Engine is quiet and has never made any of the commonly described Coyote noises in 23K+ miles.
