You don't guys run in the rain ? It looks like it's going to be fine on Sunday, we (Cincy SCCA + Western OH SCCA) are running in Wilmington as always. Rain adds fun ;-)
We don't. We're a small group, usually get about 20-25 cars. A few of the guys runs slicks only, no rain backups, so they wouldn't have come due to chance of rain. We got trolled by the forecast today for sure, sadly...

We're trying to reschedule, we'll see.

Man only 20-25 cars. That's awesome! Tons of runs!!
Start at 10AM, minimum 10 runs, and out by 3PM.

Last 2 events we had unlimited runs. I got 18 in 1 event, and people basically started leaving because they were getting tired.

Great low stress events, cheap ($20), tons of runs, free drinks etc.

I am biased though...

United Ford Owners Autocross in Columbus, Ohio.

I'm the assistant autocross director this year, and will be the main director next year.

Our last event at Columbus Motor Speedway was cancelled due to rain and they were not able to get us another date before they sold the track for soccer fields :dumb:

BUT

Our rain date is October 15th at Circleville Raceway Park in Circleville, Ohio. It's a cart track (mini road course) and we are pairing with the MORPCA (Mid Ohio Region Porsche Club of America) for this event due to venue cost.

9AM arrival time for registration, tech, course walk and drivers meeting, 10AM first car off.

Expect at least 10 runs, and if the weather is good, we'll go until people get tired.

$35 for non members (due to venue cost) and $30 for members of either club. UFO membership is $15 and you get a free shirt :)

We will be picking dates for next year in the next couple of weeks. Once they are finalized, I'll update this thread.

Next year we will be at CRP pairing with the MORPCA every event. The track is 4 times the price, and currently we don't bring enough consistent racers to pay for the track and insurance by ourselves (MORPCA doesn't either).

Anyone know of a decent shop in the Columbus area that does good exhaust work?

I want to have my Mak Cat-Deletes installed but all the big name shops won't touch it.

Midas, Meineke, Tuffy, Firestone and Monro are a no go. I tried Mad Hatter Muffler, no go. Gearhead Auto wanted to remove the manifold to weld (idiotic). Tomorrow I'm going to visit Exhaust Works and see what they say.

I am interested in this as well. Also from the Columbus area, trying to decide if I want to do the muffler delete on my own or pay a shop to do it. I usually do most of the work myself but from what Ive read its usually pretty cheap for the muffler delete so thinking about just having a shop do it, not sure where to go though.

Pickups Plus Cars on 23, North of Columbus. Seems odd, but they do lots of high end stuff. Trusted them with my GT350.....

Is there a website with any info on this? I would love to attend.

Actually, I had called them too. Neither location would help me on the cat-delete.

I'm going to try Crucial Performance and see what they can do for me.

Anyone looking for some winter tires and rims for their Mustang? . I have my stock 17's for sale, they have about 1300 miles on them. They're located in Columbus.

I'm going to be parking mine over the winter, so I don't need to fear ruining my foundries
