It is weird that they used a non-PP GT. I mean, it's not like they used regular Focuses. I am sure the performance gap between the GT350 and a PP1/PP2 car did have something to do with it, because why else would they choose not to use a "performance package" Mustang when highlighting all of their "performance cars," ya know?

It did look like it slid a bit on those all seasons on that last turn, almost Cars and Coffee'd™ that GT350.

But... the Mustang GT had the almighty 10 speed auto? I thought that was going to propel the GT into supercar territory, and eclipse the GT350 because of how many gearz it has?

But... the Mustang GT had the almighty 10 speed auto? I thought that was going to propel the GT into supercar territory, and eclipse the GT350 because of how many gearz it has?
No one has ever said that unless you are talking about a drag strip.

You realize the flaw in your logic:)
GT costs like 40K, GT350R is at last 20k more than that... not seeing a flaw here in expecting the R to be faster.

Agreed. Cost/value is important and what makes the GT350 and R such a bargain.
Think you miss what I'm saying. A SS 1LE is like 45K, thats 20K less than the R.

Yes. 20k less. So about 10k a second lol. Hence why I said it's not all about being the fastest. Read the articles I shared and both comment on the value of R.

not fair comparing GT to a GT350R. GT350R has SC2. tires are the biggest factor on tires. put the GT on winter tires, I bet it will get destroyed by every car.
