On the 14's with the brembo pkg would a 19x9.5 et38 clear in the front? Im thinking about that in front and 19x10.5 et45 in the rear Thanks in advance. Its for the Ecoboost PP. Im just worried about clearing the brakes not rubbing on the fenders should be fine on that front

They will fit the wheel wells but what is unknown is if they will clear the brakes. If you find wheels that fit the '11-14 Brembo package they should fit the EB PP and non-PP GT models fairly well.

Thats what im trying to figure out if anybody had any previous knowledge with this particular setup that et38 is throwing me off everywhere i looked the 19x9.5 had a et35 that cleared the brakes, its actually the bravado tribute matte black wheels, they say they fit but you know how that goes it also says there 20x9.5 et40 clears the 4 piston calipers. Thanx for the response though

Offset does not determine if the wheels fit the brakes. The shape of the wheel itself is what determines that. Offset only tells you how flush with the fenders the wheel will sit.

That's a pretty aggressive offset for the 2015 cars. The factory 20x9 wheels look like they just fit tucked in the wheel well and that's a 9" wide wheel with a 42.5mm offset.

I like to measure from the hub out. The 20x9 wheels measure ~2.8" from the hub to the outer edge of the 9" rim. The wheels you are looking at measure ~3.25". Meaning they will sit almost a 1/2" inch further outside the wheel well than the 20x9" wheels.

Why use 20x9 as comparison? They sit closest to the fenders out of all the 2015 factory wheels. (most aggressive stance)

If I were buying 9.5" wide wheels I wouldn't want any lower offset than probably 48mm. If I was really in love with the wheels I'd settle on 45mm offset. The PP 19x9.5" wheel has a 52.5mm offset to give you a comparison.

Once I actually get the car my opinion may change. You can only see so much in the photos online.

Are you talking about the front or the rear a et48 in the front seems way to high im not a wheel expert by no stretch of the imagination but from everything ive looked up and read it seems the highest is a et40 up front but with a spacer or 19x10 or 20x10 and i believe the performance package wheels for the 4 banger are 19x9 et42.5

Just for comparison's sake the stock '11-14 Brembo wheels are 19x9" +42mm. The RTR 19x9.5" wheel that was a very common wheel setup had a +33mm offset which is very aggressive, but fit well enough. For a 9.5" width wheel I'd like to have a +40mm offset. However, none of this will tell you if the wheel spokes will clear the brake calipers.

Yeah it's all a matter of personal taste. A numerically lower offset will fit better when it comes to suspension clearances, but they will stick out from the car further.

The offset and wheel width work together. A 9.0" wide wheel with 46mm offset will be in the same position relative to the fender/body work as a 9.5" wide wheel with a 52.5mm offset.

Take a look at this pic with the PP wheels. The front wheel actually looks like it could stick out from the fender a bit more (and fill it up with a larger tire honestly). But look at the rear. This is not the best angle, but could you image the wheel sticking out 1/2->1" more than it does here?

The rear is almost perfect here already. I personally wouldn't want the rear wheel sticking out of the fender any more than what it already does.

Take a look at this pic of the 20x9 wheels. Not the best angle here, but this looks great to me. I don't think I'd want the wheels sticking out of the body much more than this. Let alone 10mm+ more which seems to be the standard offsets for most aftermarket wheels on the market for the old Mustang.

I want to go wider, but I want to put that width inside the body of the car instead of having the wheel stick out from the body much more than the 20x9" wheels do already. The new suspension seems to allow for wider wheel/tire clearances.

And I agree none of these measurements tell us if a wheel will clear brake calipers. But if you have the same wheels one with 45mm offset that clear the brakes its safe to say the same wheel with an numerically lower offset will also clear (ie 35mm, etc). Have that same wheel with 48mm offset and it may not.
