How are you making out with the recovery? StangATX

Recovery method is working. (It's not really a recovery mode. It's more of a backdoor to re-flash the entire NAND chip on the headunit). I tested it on 2 different units. It's not an easy way but it's not hard either. I haven't replied to your PM yet because I have so much other priority to finish first. Even the ROM I took pictures of last night is more of an alpha version than beta or even release. The UI is not gonna look exactly like what I showed. I just wanted to show everyone that I'm working on another big update coming soon. I just don't have much time to work on it.:headbonk:How are you making out with the recovery? @StangATX
My update will be released on 1st gen and 2nd gen. No worries! Here's what my tweaks did so far for the RAM. I used to be 950+ /2g now I optimized the apps to use less resources. it's now running a low 830 /2gAny updates for us gen 1 people
OR.......to actually work for the guys who have this and own premium model Mustangs....lolHell yeah A backdoor is a startnow if only we could get twrp as a base for recovery and for it to activate by holding a button.
Tried contacting him, never heard back from him. Not sure if he is even still on here, forget his screen name. What about contacting the 1 guy that got his working in his premium? That would be my starting point.
Keep emailing Liu Chaoren about it. Don't let him ignore you.Tried contacting him, never heard back from him. Not sure if he is even still on here, forget his screen name.

Frustrating:(
TBH the flashing method is much safer than TWRP or any other recovery mode. TWRP could fail (Happened to me. Sometimes the recovery wouldn't stick and I had to flash it 2-3 time for it to stay). That method no matter if you mess up the recovery, radio, bootloader. It'll reflash the entire NAND.Hell yeah A backdoor is a startnow if only we could get twrp as a base for recovery and for it to activate by holding a button.
