So, I spent yesterday installing a powered sub in my trunk, and it made a WORLD of difference. The sound is much more "rounded out" and full sounding. It's not the powered sub I really want, but it will work for now.
There is a noticeable sound difference when running Spotify locally vs Bluetooth, it just sounds 10x better via BT than it does when running from the HU itself.
The hardest part was being as big as I am, trying to work in the back seat!

It's got the LOC built in which is nice, my only complaint is that I have to have it cranked all the way up just to get that fuller sound. I picked it up cheap on "letgo" (a smartphone app for buying other people's stuff) and it at least pushed me to install the wiring. I will likely upgrade to something stronger later.

I cheated on the installation. I didn't go through the passenger side like everyone else, I actually ran the power wire from the distribution block under the hood, to the firewall, across to driver's side, and through the same grommet as my front cam wire, then back to the trunk. 16' was the perfect length for that. If I had more time, I would have run it on the passenger side, but it's no big deal. I used 8ga true copper power and ground, and tapped into the wires in the rear shelf for speakers, and the blue/white wire for remote turn on, and it worked like a charm.

That's pretty awesome. Is there a setting somewhere in the unit for the front cam to come on automatically at low speeds like when parking?

I use my front camera EXCLUSIVELY for parking. The whole reason I installed it was to protect my front splitter.

I ended up plugging it into the RIGHT camera input because that is the camera that pops up when you tap the CAMS button and open the app. I wanted quicker access to the cam rather than having to toggle over to FRONT after starting the CAMS app.
