Thanks for the quick responses.
Here's my understanding of the connections:
P.S. The Premium model mustang has a toggle switch that stays up to keep the hazard lights on. By default, the hazard light switch on the Tesla-unit only keeps the hazard lights on if I hold the switch in the up position. This can also explain that hazard lights doing funky things for you folks without a Premium model and switching to "Mustang Hi".
- I definitely don't have another USB connector, this is the only one that plugs into the back of my MyFordTouch screen. The other thing that plugs into the MFT screen is thw large cable you see at the top of the photo that shows the metal piece. Thr USB connector also doesnt fit into either one of the plugs on the brown-connector cable, as either the cutout for the portrusion OR the triangle is in the right place on the plug, but not both.
- The only cable I have with a thing that swings around to lock it into place is the large pne that plugs into the back of the MFT. As far as I can tell, that connects to the plug that has the red/white RCA and where I plugged in the yellow/black cables on pin 53/54 to get the gauge working. Bery confident that there isn't another such cable there.
