Do you have to choose premium or base when you place an order with them? I thought I saw something about that was a choice for ordering at one point.

Also has anybody put one in a Premium GTpp yet? Wondering if the mode button works correctly or if its changing the drive mode "I think the video had it changing the ac or the blower".

No the black box doesnt come out, you do have to remove the two connectors on the bottom side though.

Not only do the two USB connections have to be disconnected but you also have to disconnect the lever connection as well.

I assume those are for additional connections. I did not have the terminal ends on mine and chose to place a very small piece of electrical tape over each end to eliminate any possibility of arching.

Nope. Both work just like they did before.
