What breakthrough do you need? I just told China I'm starting to get pissed and already reverse engineered their unit. Here's what he said " Oh my god! you IT ELITE!!" :lol: wtf... I'm trying to work with their "Engineer" to fix some hardware firmware issues. It's a little slow cause they don't speak English and he has to translate for me.

Yeah, when I got tired of the language barrier, I would type what I wanted to say in English, and paste it into Google Translate to Chinese Simplified, and it worked great. Told them to reply in Chinese, and I'd translate the incoming messages the same way. The breakthroughs I'd like are some way to integrate the Tach into the dark theme, and getting the dark icons and HVAC from the rest of the I-5 UI.

I personally would rather have it disabled, or something else in it's place. Without the weather, we won't need the round dial on it for selecting the region, how limited are we on what can be put there? Just pictures? I wish we could take whatever shows the tachometer on the other display, and integrate it into the dark theme somehow.

I can try to make a Frankenstein Dark Theme and try to add the RPM gauge to it...

I LOVE the large Speedo on the dark theme, I hate that Torque doesn't work with the unit, 'cause we could just create a floating widget gauge that sits on top of it all.

I have a few questions:

1. Where can i buy this unit? Link please because I don't want to buy a fake one.
2. Does the reverse camera still work?
3. Does Google maps work?
4. Am I able to make phone calls from this unit?
5. Can I make the pony logo the booting logo?
6. How do I update this system? Is there a way I can purchase the most updated version?

These are my only questions/ concerns. I don't care for the extras such as mirroring or whatnot. I just want a working nav/sync system and this one looks the best. Thanks in advance!

Torque has keep on top features, but it just can't read CANBUS. He never replied to my email.

So you're able to keep Torque over S550 Launcher?

PS: Just found out where htey fucked up for KM/H and MPH... They forgot to code a part of the Launcher lol. It'll show KM when you don't start the engine but will show MPH when you start if you enabled the option with the new update. However, I just found a way to get MPH showing up instead of KMH before to start the engine Still trying to figure out how I can make the RPM to the Dark theme.

I haven't tested (because Torque is useless right now) but it has "keep widgets on top" if I remember correctly.

Mine shows MPH all the time I think, but if I'm not moving, Im usually not looking lol

Mine will only if I start the car and shut it off. (talking about the normal theme). Now if you just run ACC it'll show KM/H instead of MPH and when you'll start the engine it'll switch to MPH. I'm almost done with the RPM gauge for Dark theme. (I'll text you )

On your video, that 1st set of option before you click "more settings", on the left pane, scroll down to advanced settings.
