Does anyone know how the backup camera connects to your unit is there a selerate plug for the camera or does it connect through sync or the main harness. I've installed the Seicane 10.2" andriod touchscreen and I've got no backup camera. Or even do,you know how the backup camera connects to the stock system?

Yeah, this cable is what connects it.



I can't speak for the Seicane unit though, but it has a flip-over latch on the plug, and the yellow RCA connects to the unit.

Pat, do you think there is any way to get this unit to stay powered while the car is off? Just the android board or something so that the boot isn't required at startup, maybe adding a lithium battery somewhere?

Adding a lithium battery would be a bad idea with temperature extremes. I think there may be a way to allow it constant power with the screen staying off, and system in standby, but it won't be a simple task. We're going to be working on a fast-booting kernel soon though.

Hey thanks is this the latch connector your speaking of. The foam around the bottom is the seicane connection that connects to their CANBUS. I believe there is a yellow RCA coming off that so it must go to the camera in RCA.

Yeah, that's just for the backup camera, it's not actually a CANBUS connection. It converts the signal to the RCA connector, and you just plug it into another yellow RCA input to figure out which one is for the backup camera. (assuming yours has multiple video inputs)

Oh god man! you are a god send. I've been searching all night for info on that connection. Yes it has multiple inputs but they are marked in English and one yellow marked camera. Thanks my man

I found the camera whenever I was working on my prototype. The camera feed comes from the little screen plug (with the latch). It's pin 6 & 12 (6=ground) 12(yellow feed).

Drive Modes enabled on a 2015 V6!!

AB values likely only work for a 2015 V6 or EB but just search the data lines posted for the correct vehicle trim (EB,GT) and year for compatible AB data.

Note: Requires an MFT or Sync 3 swap to get the 4th toggle on the radio bezel.

No, it won't. If you change the AB data to accomodate for the toggles, your HVAC won't function properly.
